Richard offers private double bass instruction to players of all ages and experience levels, from the elementary school beginner to music majors at the University of Saskatchewan. He brings an energetic and engaging approach to teaching that is based on the classical tradition while also incorporating contemporary idioms. Richard happily takes beginners and those hoping to make the transition from electric to upright.  In addition to weekly lessons, students participate in regular studio classes as well as winter and spring class recitals.  These activites are included in lesson fees.
